Pangasius Hypophthalmus (nowadays after a reclassification Pangasianodon hypophthalmus) is a freshwater fish of the Shark catfish family (Pangasiidae), which populates the river systems of the Mekong and Chao Phraya in Thailand, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.
